Better Brain Health for Women in Midlife
June 19, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
FreeJoin me on June 19, 2020 at 12 pm PST for a very special conversation with Ann Garnier, CEO and Founder of LisaHealth — a science-based website and health care app that that helps midlife women navigate the perimenopausal years. It is an honor to be a contributor to their site, and I look forward to discussing how to help women build resilient brains at menopause and beyond in this free webinar.
Two-thirds of people with Alzheimer’s are women. The midlife years are critical for brain health, and making lifestyle changes now is essential to reduce your risk and boost cognitive functioning.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Annie Fenn, Ob/Gyn, an expert in menopausal care and brain health. After retiring from her busy practice, Dr. Fenn dedicated herself to fighting Alzheimer’s. She founded the Brain Health Kitchen, a cooking school that teaches people how to cook and eat more brain-healthy foods. Dr. Fenn travels worldwide, speaking on the connection between food and brain health and giving cooking lessons and demonstrations.
Dr. Fenn will share her insights into when and why women’s brains become more vulnerable to cognitive decline, the best diet for brain health, foods to double down on, foods to avoid, and other changes you can make today.
